Myrtle M. Warner

Myrtle Marie (Mickey) (nee Hartman) Warner, 73 of Beach Park, IL loving wife, devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully on January 15, 2011 at home surrounded by family and loved ones. She was born on February 26, 1937 in Creston, Iowa. Myrtle married Robert (Stubby) Warner on June 6, 1953. Together they had 5 children, Robert (Chris) Warner, Vicki Zika, Jim (Jan) Warner, John Warner, and Joe (Kris) Warner. She was an avid reader and enjoyed crosswords, playing bingo with friends and sharing time with family. Myrtle had 14 grandchildren; Corey and Casey (Samantha) Zika, Sarah (Eric) Muhlbach, Kelly, and Adam Warner, Christopher, Tony, and Danielle Grimsley, William, Benjamin, and Abigal Warner, Kelson, Kyra, and Tristin Warner; and two great grandchildren Ayden Zika and Brody Muhlbach, as well as many loving nieces and nephews. Myrtle is survived by three cherished sisters, Cayrol Prentice, Barbara Hughes, Linda (Larry) Wilson, and one loving Brother Larry John (Kathy) Hartman; She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Elma Hartman, one sister Norma Williams and two brothers Billie and Jimmy Hartman. The family thanks the many healthcare providers who gave compassionate care and comfort. Visitation Tuesday 5:00-8:00p.m and 10:00-11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Marsh Funeral Home of Gurnee.
