It is with great sadness to announce the passing of our beloved mother, Nenita Mariano Calanza, 75. She died peacefully on Sunday, 10th of January 2021.

Nenita was born on October 8, 1945 in Hermosa Bataan Philippines. She has raised seven children with her late husband, Rodolfo Calanza. Together, they strived for a better life for their family which led them to venture off to the United States. There she taught her children the importance of hard work. She was an inspiration to all.

We are very thankful to have her in our lives. We all have shared wonderful memories throughout the years that we will cherish in our hearts forever...we love and miss you Mom!

Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.MarshFuneralHome.com for the Calanza family.

Mama, I miss our small talks. Thank you for all of the sound advice you've given me and for always being my shoulder to cry on. Thank you for being there to hear me vent when I need to. Thank you for welcoming me in and treating me like a daughter. Especially grateful for raising a good man in Roman, my knight in shining armor. I really appreciate all you have done for me and my family. Thank you for all the memories. I will treasure it forever. Rest in peace, Mama.

Hi mama...I miss you already. It’s hard to let you go but I know you’re now with Lolo and Lola, Papa, Dhoy, Chloe, and Gabriel. In our hearts, you’ll always be with us; guiding and watching over us. Thank you for being the best mom and for all the fun family memories and hilarious conversations growing up. We will forever treasure the moments we shared and will continue to honor you and your legacy. We love and miss you so so much. Until we meet again.

Biography

Legacy of Love

A wife, a mother, a grandma too,
This is the legacy we have from you.

You taught us love and how to fight,
You gave us strength, you gave us might.

A stronger person would be hard to find,
And in your heart you were always kind.

You fought for us all in one way or another,
Not just as a wife not just as a mother.

For all of us you gave your best,
And now the time has come for you to rest.

So go in peace, you’ve earned your sleep,
Your love in our hearts we’ll eternally keep.
