Ralph had a great smile and laugh, and he was always fun to be around. I have fond memories of visiting Illinois and spending time with him and the rest of his family. I hadn't seen him for a long time and I'm sad that the opportunity is now gone. I know he will be missed by many.

Ralph was the best big brother a girl could have. We fought and competed, but in the end, we loved. My favorite memories are from childhood when Nona, Ralph and I were left to ourselves and we would be silly, laughing so hard our stomachs hurt and just having fun. We recorded those times on a cassette recorder and our Mother would listen to those tapes on occasion after we were all grown and moved away as they reminded her of the days of loving and caring for her children and the joy they brought with their laughter and happiness. We three never stopped joking and laughing on into our adult years, and my sister and I will forever miss our little/big brother dearly. May the Lord keep our cherished sibling and give him peace.

Ralph,
They say a man can live forever if one mentions his name. My heart, everyone's heart will forever speak your name. You were there for me in my darkest times, as you are now. You have filled my families life with so much love, that one can never repay. Its hard to say goodbye to a brother a friend so Ralph.. Until the next time, Save me a spot on the river, we never had the chance in this life but we will in the next! My brother, my friend I love you and will be waiting until the next time we meet. To Ralphs family we are so deeply sorry for your loss. Ralph was a good man, a great brother and friend. He will and is greatly missed.

There are so many good times we all had with Ralph. Mr. B's was like our own version of Cheers. Ralph was always there sitting at the end of the bar like Norm. His camera forever in his hand snapping every moment of the fun. Even when you would think to yourself ,"Ok no more pictures, Ralph, man" he could still get you to smile. Some of my favorite shots of my husband and I were taken by Ralph. So truly talented. We both shared a love of photography and often spoke of it. He could always make you laugh and knew just how to enjoy the little things in life. He definitely was a one of a kind man and he will be missed. My husband Richard and I extend our deepest and most sincere sympathies to his family and friends.

It's really amazing how with some people you don't have to spend a lot of time with them to form a deep connection with them. Uncle Ralph was one of those people. I have uncles that I've spent a lot more time with and yet the connection I have with them isn't near as deep as what I had with him and I have a sneaking suspicion that I'll always carry the hole left in my heart when he went to heaven. I love you, Uncle Ralph, and I miss you so much.

Ralph was a great uncle, he had a great sense of humor. He loved to pick on eneryone. He loved to build and fix computers and helped me with my laptop before. I love and miss you uncle Ralph, I wish I could have spent more time with you.
