Born on December 24, 1928, Rex Beaumont (Koren Kzerian) died peacefully at home surrounded by family on August 18, 2016, after a courageous battle with cancer. Son of the late Harvey “Avedis” Kzerian and Louise “Lusintag” Kavafian, Rex was preceded in death by his brother Sam Kzerian, sister Carla Hyatt, and brother Ralph Peterson. He is survived by Debra, his wife of 37 years, sons Christopher and Anthony, sister Dagny Yewell, as well as nieces, nephews, and many friends. Rex was a retired laborer from Local Union 152. He was also an avid churchgoer, a member of St. Anastasia Church and usher for many years. Special recognition and gratitude go to Dr. John Munsell and Rev. Aloysius Funtila for their support. Memorial Service will be held Thursday, August 25, 2016 at 2pm with a visitation from 1-2 pm at Marsh Funeral Home in Gurnee, IL. His family is grateful for condolences but respectfully decline flowers and donations in his memory.
