Robert J. Barrows

Robert J. Barrows, age 87, of Gurnee, Illinois, passed away at Vista East Medical Center in Waukegan on July 16, 2013. He was born August 14, 1925 in Waukegan. Robert was a veteran of WWII in the Air Force. He is survived by his loving wife Aldona (Berkiel) Barrows; children, Lawrence H. Quendenfeld (Sherrie), Karen L. Mihevc (Douglas), and Richard A. Barrows (Tava); grandchildren, Debra Holtzapple (Bobby), Stacie and Kimmy Quendenfeld, and Kristen and Collin Mihevc; great grandchildren, Kevin, Alexis, and Camron; siblings Eileen Smith, Jack Barrows (Mary Ann), Don Barrows (Nancy), Joanne Chase, the late Leon Barrows, and Patricia Thiel. Preceded in death by his parents Vincent and Theresa Barrows. Funeral Service will be held Saturday July 20, 2013 at Marsh Funeral Home of Gurnee at 10 am. Visitation will be Friday July 19 from 4-8pm and Saturday July 20 from 9-10am. Burial at Ascension Cemetery in Libertyville, Illinois.
