Dearest Aunt Marsha, Randy, Michael, Laura & Lisa,
We were all saddened to hear about Uncle Bob. Without question, he was everyone's favorite Uncle, and the last true Patriarch of our family. He treated everyone with kindness, that great DeRue smile and always said something positive and uplifting. When he worked at the courthouse, he often got me out of a jam when I worked at the title company. Best Cub game ever was w/Uncle Bobby & my Dad at Wrigley. We'll never forget the family reunions at your home....lifelong memories now. He gave us so many memories too beautiful to ever forget. God speed Uncle Bobby. "And may the Angels lead him into the Kingdom of Heaven". Love you all.

I am so very sorry for your family's loss. First time I met your dad was when he bartended my 10 yr Grayslake Comm HS reunion in 1974 at the Cabriolet. Every time after that, when I saw him, I would mention what reunion I had just had or was going to have. He got a real kick out of when I told him about my upcoming 50th a few years ago. Sincere condolences to all of you!

So sorry for the loss of my favorite uncle. So many memories of our childhood, from Round Lake in the forties to Eleventh Street in the fifties and later in life at Third Lake. We were more like brothers than uncle and nephew. Glad we had a little time together two years ago. God bless you, rest in peace.

Amongst many other memories - the annual family reunions at his home in Third Lake and the excitement when you "became of age" and were allowed to have your first attempt at water skiing!! Oh and having to use the "outhouse" in the garage!! So many other memories - he was an awesome Uncle and will be terribly missed --- Love - one of many nieces - Leigh Rasmussen Drinkwine
