Roger L. Baker 76, of Johnsburg, passed away on July 22, 2015 at Home. Roger was born on in Waukegan, Il. On November 30, 1938. Graduate of Waukegan High School class of 1957. Associate Degree – CLC - Heating & Air Conditioning. U.S. Air Force Veteran. Retired after 29 yrs. At International Harveste/Kamatsu. His love of music motivated him to be the leader of his own band “Changes” for more than 30 yrs. He married in 1961 to Mary Ellen Kinnee at Holy Family Church in North Chicago Il. A long time member of UAW – Local #145 and Federation of Musicians – Local #284. A member of The American Legion. Beloved husband of Mary Ellen, loving father Robert (Stacy) Baker, Kenneth (Lisa) Baker, dear brother of Yvonne Baker and JoAnn (Dave) Cooper, dear grandfather of Alyssa, Jenna, Leah, Lauren and Brad. He is preceded in death by his parents Lester W. Baker and Dorothy (Shorman) Baker, one brother Richard Baker. Visitation Monday 5-8 PM and Tuesday 10-11 AM at Marsh Funeral Home.
