Ronald G. Williams, of Lindenhurst, IL and Tampa, FL, April 21, 2016. He was a member of a pioneer Florida family, an alumni of the University of Florida, and earned a masters degree from Northwestern University, Evanston, IL. A veteran of the United States Air Force, attaining the rank of Captain. He was a Director at Abbott Laboratories and G.D. Searle Pharmaceuticals. A devoted father, outstanding hockey dad to his two sons, and a tireless volunteer with his wife in the formation of the Lindenhurst Park District. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Irene. Two sons, Gary (Dee) of Las Vegas, NV, and Randall of Chicago, and Grandfather of Kevin, Kody, Klay, and Samuel Williams. Brother of Dr. James (Chris) Williams, and Lynne Adams (Junie). In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Samuel Williams College Fund, P.O. Box 7983, Gurnee, IL 60031. Interment Private.
