Rose Jones, 78 years old, passed away peacefully with her loved ones present in her home on July 8, 2018.
Rose was born on November 8, 1939 in Waukegan, IL to Edward and Rosa Perez. Rose married the love of her life William Jones Jr. on May 10, 1958 in Waukegan. Donna and Chuck,
I'm so very sorry to hear about the passing of your mother, Donna! I am comforted by her obituary indicating family was with her at the end. I am thinking about you and praying for you. I only met her once, but I've heard so much about your mother from you, Donna, over the years, and I've enjoyed her tasty popcorn! Thank you for those memories. Jayna

I met Rose many years ago at a Weight Watchers meeting. We became close friends from that moment. She loved reading so whenever I visited I would bring bags of magazines. My favorite memory is she would say "Laurie do you know how much I love you?" I will treasure those words forever. I miss and love you Rose.

I'm Judi, one of the caregivers of Mrs. Rose Jones. She was always a delight to take care of. Her sense of humor, her grace, and her friendly outgoing manner won my heart from day one. It was a privilege to know her.

Rose, you were the life and love of the activities department at Winchester House. You made every day a joy and have us so much to laugh about. You knew how to tell a story that has us laughing so that our eyes ran and out stomachs hurt. You were also a compassionate ear and a shoulder to cry on. I know you have an extra special place in heaven with Bill. All my love and prayers to your family.

Oh Rose. I will never forget you. You made the years at WH so enjoyable with your quick wit and sweet smile. Your love for the residents and coworkers was obvious. I remember coming to your house for the most amazing tacos. You were often the glue that held us all together. You are now with the love of your life. Rest well sweet Rose.

As my dad always said, "Rosie Toezee & one of the Jones Boys - Willy." The most favorite family and wonderful patients.
From the time I was little and working in dad's office, I remember the kindness and warmth of your parents. They will be truly missed. I'm glad we were able to connect even for a short time. May our Dear Lord keep his arms around all of you. Find comfort in knowing that they are together in heaven.
All my prayers and love;
Karen D. (& Dr. Ted) Restarski-Jones
P.S. yes, I joined the ranks of "Jones" over 35 years ago

I'm really going to miss You. Gosh, there is so much to say. There was never a dull moment with you and Bill. I've always enjoyed our times and laughs together. Along with our chats with you, your family and other friends at your kitchen table. Not to mention enjoying all the Mexican food (and your famous - outrageous hot sauce) that you always loved to do, by feeding us. That always made you feel so happy. You always made everyone feel so welcome into your home. I have so many great memories. I will keep you and Bill in my thoughts and prayers. I will always hold on to, and appreciate our precious times and memories that we shared. I am glad I was able to visit with you and enjoy some laughs and conversation with you this past week. Rosie - RIP. You will be missed. I love you.
