In loving memory of a truly special sister-in-law. It is hard to find the words to express how much Rose meant to us. She was not just family by law, but a deeply loved part of our lives. We will always remember her cheerful energy that could brighten any room, her intelligence, and her deeply generous heart. She gave so much of herself to everyone around her, especially to us. We are so grateful for the time we had with her, and her memory will live on in our hearts forever. We Love you sister.

Rose loved our family with her whole heart. She did not view us as 'in-laws'—she embraced us as her own. Whether she was organizing family gatherings, checking in on us, or showing up with total devotion, she made every single one of us feel seen and cherished. She held our family together with grace and fierce love.

Yet, for all her brilliance, she never took herself too seriously. Rose had a wonderful, quick sense of humor. She knew how to light up a room with a clever remark or a warm laugh when we needed it the most. Her jokes brought ease to heavy days, and her laughter is a sound we will miss every single day.

Rose had an incredible mind. She was sharp, thoughtful, and always curious about the world. You could bring any topic to her—from deep life questions to daily puzzles—and she would offer a wise, clear perspective. She did not just know a lot; she understood people. Her wisdom guided us through hard times and made every conversation with her special.

Rose came into our lives as a sister-in-law, but she quickly became a true sister and a pillar of our family.

I have been a longtime Boggle friend of Rose's.  I never met or spoke with her in person (and hardly ever won against her), but in the messages, her intelligence, charm, sharp sense of humor, caring about her patients and love for her family shone through.  The pictures of her food spreads for the holidays were always mouthwatering.  She was a force of nature.  My heart goes out to her family and friends.

I had the privilege to work with Rsee on/,off for 24 glorious years. Never lost contact. Jobs came and went, but friendship held steady we always picked up just where we left off. Always a sparkle in her eyes, a grolorious smile and even more fantastic eyebrows. The thought of talking or seeing her, always puy a smile on my face. She was a true friend. She touched my life on so many levels. I hope she knew how much she meant to me. There will slways be slways be a place kn my heart. For her. She was kind and generous, and shared her peace with religion.  Kept us all in check while having an  absolute fantastic outlook her and center ground us all.  We lost and gained so many pounds together  I just can't say enough love she has and gave. She's a force that we all will never take forever granted  and will like on our hearts forever. My only regret of Rose snd i have lomited photos together.  l love  you Rose, thank you for all you've done for and choosing me to be in your family.

You left us on September 8, 2026, but your love and kindness will remain in our hearts forever.

I and my wife Gilda will never forget our last moments with you at your deathbed in Highland Park Hospital, Illinois. Even in that painful goodbye, we felt blessed that God allowed us  coming all the way from the Philippines  to be with you one last time, to hold your hand and thank you for everything.

I will treasure all the beautiful memories we had when you were still full of life:

In 2016, when I first visited you and your family, you brought me to your favorite steakhouse and restaurant. I felt so welcomed, so loved — like I was not just a brother-in-law, but a true brother.

You toured me around  Illinois and Wisconsin — boat cruise rides, overnight stays, and unforgettable trips to Downtown Chicago, the libraries, the Cultural Center, the Bean Park (Millennium Park), Navy Pier Boulevard, and the beautiful sceneries of Lake Michigan. You showed me not just places, but your heart.

When I visited again in September to October 2022 and 2025, you again made time for us. Our overnight trip to Galena in 2025 is still so fresh in my mind — full of laughter, stories, and joy.

And I will never forget that you and your family also visited us in the Philippines whenever you had vacation. We were so happy to bring you around Cagayan de Oro City, our home, and show you our simple life there. Your presence brought so much happiness to our family.

My dear sister, thank you for your love, your generosity, your smile, and your kindness. You treated me like your own brother. You made every visit special. You made me feel at home in America.

Though you are gone, I can never forget the memories that we had. You live on in our hearts, in our stories, and in our prayers.
