Shane B. Betar, 14, passed away on December 1, 2014. Shane was born on September 21, 2000, to Michael B. Betar and Leia A. Betar (nee Lyon). Shane is survived by his parents, his brother Benjamin, his Grandparents Michael and Anne Lyon, and several loving Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2014, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a service to be held at 7:00 p.m. at Marsh Funeral Home, 305 N. Cemetery Road, Gurnee, Illinois (847) 336-0127. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made out to: “The Betar Family” and should be mailed to: First Midwest Bank, Attn: Sara Jones, 300 N. Hunt Club Road, Gurnee, Illinois 60031. All contributions will be given to the Millburn Middle School Wrestling Team to be used for new uniforms and equipment.
