Stanley Serkowski Jr., age 79, of Gurnee, Illinois passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at Vista East Medical Center in Waukegan. Stanley was born September 13, 1943 to Stanley and Katherine Serkowski.
Stanley served in the US Army in his early years. He loved gardening and won many blue ribbons throughout his life. Stanley's favorite national park was Zion, and loved visiting. He also loved his dog Mimi.
Stanley was preceded in death by the love of his life, Mary Ann Serkowski in 2013. He is survived by his sister Kathy Peck; brother's David (Tammy) and Donald Sr. (Heidi) Serkowski and his brother from another mother, Thomas Mallen. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service for Stanley will be held Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Ascension Catholic Cemetery & Mausoleum, 1920 W. Buckley Rd., Libertyville, IL 60048.
