Stephen W. Bolander, age 84, of Gurnee, Illinois passed away on Friday, February 18, 2022. Stephen was born August 13, 1937 in Libertyville, IL to Eric and Evangeline Bolander. He served our country as a proud army veteran. Stephen was the business owner of Eric Bolander Construction Co, now closed. He was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church.
Stephen is survived by his son Eric (Mary) Bolander and five grandchildren; Kelsey, Avery, Will, Luke and Maggie. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary; daughter Robin Bolander; parents ; brother John and his sister Ann.
A visitation for Stephen will be held Friday, February 25, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Marsh Funeral Home, 305 N Cemetery Rd, Gurnee, IL 60031. Funeral mass will occur at 11:00 AM at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 6401 Gages Lake Rd., Gurnee, IL 60031. Burial at Ascension Cemetery, 1920 Buckley Rd., Libertyville, IL 60046.
