Steven Allen Carlson, age 77, of Gurnee, Illinois passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2021. Born in Waukegan on April 15, 1944, he was a veteran of the United States Army and a retiree of North Shore Gas. The beloved father of Christopher (Shelly) Carlson and Jason (Shelly) Carlson. He will be dearly missed by his grandchildren Chloe, Andrew, and Sidney. Loving brother to Karen Boerma, Laurie (Bob) Tomasiewicz, and Rowen Carlson. He will be missed by the "Breakfast Gang". He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Marta (Kostecka) Carlson, his parents, Stig and Margaret (Salmon) Carlson, brother-in-law, Mike Boerma, and sister-in-law, Carol (Lee) Carlson.
Visitation will be at Marsh Funeral Home in Gurnee on Friday, November 5, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A small service and sharing of memories will take place at 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations or memorials can be made to American Cancer Society.
