Susan H Van Der Bosch

b. March 19, 1935 to Mary O'Neill and Dr. Leo Joseph Hartnett in St. Louis, MO. She was the first born of 4 girls. While attending Barat College in Lake Forest, IL she married the love of her life, George A. Van Der Bosch in 1955 (1933-2017).

She is survived by her sister; Anne (Jack) Dunning, her 5 children; Mary Jo Schauer of Gunnison, CO, Anne Van Der Bosch of Montgomery, IL, Leo (Amy) Van Der Bosch of Placerville, CO, Ellen Van Der Bosch of Long Beach CA, and George (Janet) Van Der Bosch of Lake Zurich, IL, grandchildren; Lindsey (Casey) Martin, Andrew Schauer, Evan (Caitlin) Schauer, Lee Saunders, Jenifer (Brian) Gutke, Maxwell Van Der Bosch, Claire Van Der Bosch, and George W. Van Der Bosch, 6 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Susan was active in her community serving on the Long Grove Planning Commission and Long Grove Park District boards. She loved her family, playing golf and participating in her bridge club in addition to her successful real estate career. She passed away peacefully on September 11th, 2023. Memorial service to be held at a later date. Tributes in her name may be made to the Alzheimer' Association, with her sincere gratitude and appreciation.
