He was a Gurnee Police officer and Telecommunicator, Mundelein Telecommunication Supervisor, Lake County Sheriff court deputy, owner and operator of Public Safety consultants. T.G. was a lifelong member of Illinois APCO where he was actively involved and held many positions.
T.G. was a graduate of Warren Township H.S. and the Illinois State Police Academy. He enjoyed being with people. He made many friends and created countless memories throughout the years. Whether it was through his travels, coaching Boys Youth Baseball, fishing in Rhinelander or playing cards with friends. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his five grandchildren.
T.G. is survived by his wife Julie; son Jason (Tori) Mieure; daughter, Tiffany (Jerry) Alvarado; grandchildren Daniel, Jordan, Maisy, Millie, Milo; sister-in-laws Connie (Kevin) Weeks, Debbie (Jim) Ringler, Dianne (Janie Ross) Welsch; nieces and nephews, Justin (Wendie) Weeks, Melissa (Nick) Flores, Mike (Christina) Ringler; great nephews, Lucas Ringler, Ross (Carlei) Chamberlain and Ezra; great niece, Ellie Jacob's cousins-Karen Canada, Kevin (Leslie) and Keith Beckett. Preceded in death by his parents Gerald and Alberta Mieure; In-laws- John and Patricia Welsch, nephew Brian Weeks.
A visitation for Taylor will be held Saturday, June 28, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Marsh Funeral Home, 305 N Cemetery Rd, Gurnee, IL 60031. Interment at Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville, IL following the visitation. Contributions can be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation, Illinois Railway Museum, Illinois C.O.P.S. (Concerns of Police Survivors). The family would like to thank the Laurel of Vernon Hills and Suncrest Hospice for their Love and Care.
