Vincent M. Turner

Vincent M. Turner Age 48, passed away October 15, 2010 at Condell Hospital. He was born June 22, 1962 in Chicago, IL. Vincent owned Vince's Auto and was also a hospice nurse at Star Hospice. Vincent loved riding his motorcycle, hanging out with the guys in his garage, and playing poker. He was an avid Warren Youth Football fan as both his younger sons play football. But most of all, he loved being a dad and husband and always put his family first. Vincent was loved by many friends and put laughter and joy into all our lives. He is survived by his wife, Coryn of 16 years; children, Kelly (Amanda) Turner, Keon Turner, Latrice Morris, Toni Turner, Nicholas Turner, Myles Turner; step-son Kenneth Morris; Grandchildren, Tailyn and Demea Morris and Mccoi Knox; father William Turner; brother, Raymond (Ginny) Turner, Cheryl (Cleophus) Hall, Michelle Turner, Darcey Turner, William Turner Jr., Robert (Andrea) Turner; his soul brother P.J. Babbington and a host of nieces and nephews. Vincent was preceded in death by his mother Anna, sister Jacqueline Turner and brother Earl Ricks, III, and his grandparents Lorenzo "Dodo" and Virginia Johnson. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 23, 2010 from 10 a.m. until time of service at Noon at the Marsh Funeral Home 305 N. Cemetery Road Gurnee, IL. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the scholarship fund for his sons Myles & Nicholas.
