Virginia G Moreno

Virginia Garcia Moreno, 84, passed away surrounded by her family on July 14, 2011 at her home in Beach Park , Illinois. She was born May 17, 1927 in San Antonio Texas to Vicente and Lazara Garcia. Virginia enjoyed gardening and loved quilting. She is survived by her husband Ricardo Moreno; 2 sons Ricardo (Jennifer) Moreno Jr and Juan Manuel Moreno; 7 grandchildren, Ricardo C. , Gabriel and Sophie Moreno, Gina and Joe Kim, Juan Miguel and Carlos Moreno and Melissa (Dimitri) Selevredes; 10 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Mary Reyna and Salome (Edward) Soliz; nieces and nephews and their families. A special thank you for the staff of Midwest Pallaitive Center and Bessy Eveline whom lovingly took care of Virginia 24 hours a day.

Preceded in death by her daughter, Irma Moreno; 2 sisters, Guadalupe Garza and Esther Muñoz and brother, Rafael Garcia.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 19, 2011 from 5 to 8pm at Marsh Funeral Home and Wednesday from 9 to 10am with a funeral service following at 10am at Marsh Funeral Home. Interment at Ascension Cemetery.
