EDGEWATER- Dr. Lotte Pick, 89, of Edgewater, NJ passed away peacefully on November 14, 2019. Born in Dusseldorf Germany, she came to the United States after escaping Nazi Germany at the age of 7 and settled in NYC with her parents. She worked as a psychologist and a professor for thirty years, obtaining her doctorate from Columbia University.
Lotte was predeceased by her parents Ernest and Meta Levy. She was the wife of the late Larry Pick and is survived by her daughter Elaine Pick, son-in-law Reinaldo Castro, grandson Michael Castro, and granddaughter Alexis Castro.
Lotte enjoyed traveling, books, movies, the opera, spending time with her family and friends, and watching FOX News. Her passion to support Israel led her to visit there several times. She will be forever missed more than she could ever imagine and she will never be forgotten.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 on Sunday November 17th followed by interment at Beth-El Cemetery, Paramus, NJ. Shiva will begin Sunday November 17, from 4-6, continuing Monday and Tuesday also from 4-6 at her residence at 1055 River Rd. Apt# 906 S Edgewater, NJ 07020.
