My deepest sympathy to the Bichler family.  I had Dr Bichler in Fair Lawn High School for Hebrew and History.  We would spend 2 hours every school day together one class after the other.  If you think that was enough, we would also see each other in temple on Saturday and of course say Shabbat Shalom to each other.  May he rest in peace.

You will always have a special place in my heart. My fluency in Hebrew is due to the many years I learned from you as my Hebrew teacher in Bnai Israel & Fair Lawn High School. We saw you last year recount your Holocaust experiences on Yom Hashoah at the armory, very emotional. Baruch Dayan Ha’emet. May your memory be a blessing!

My deepest condolences to the family of Mr. Bichler (always “Mr.”). He taught at Yavneh Academy when I attended (1962-1966).
Mr. B was my Hebrew Language teacher at Fair Lawn High School and because I was a Yavneh graduate he created a completely different and unique curriculum for me.
Mr. B was a very tough but very fair teacher and what I learned from him in three years as his student goes far beyond language and text books.
He is truly missed in this world.

If this is the Abe Bichler that was a teacher at Yavneh Academy, I will keep my opinion of him to myself.
