Amy and I graduated in the Carteret High School (CHS) class of 1975.  I would like to say that I knew her well but we knew each other only as classmates.  We had a few classes together in High School and as I remember, she was always pleasant to me.  I feel a deep loss of another CHS classmate passing away.  My condolences to the family.  The last time I saw Amy was at our 1995 class reunion and she looked spectacular.   I am so sorry to hear of Amy's passing.

I only knew Amy a short time but every encounter and conversation was remarkable. She was full of life, knowledge and amazing stories.  She was so warm and loving, especially of her family and she loved to laugh.   Amy you have been in my thoughts many times and always with a smile.  You will be missed by everyone you've touched.

One month ago on 4-6-2020  the love of my life, my Beautiful and Extraordinary Sister passed away and my world is forever changed. 

Amy was the most gracious yet strongest person that I have ever known.  From my childhood years to adulthood, I will always remember that my big Sister's Hugs were pure joy.  Her infectious smile and laughter could fill up a stadium.  She was my greatest cheerleader and I was hers. Amy used to charge people $1.00 to hold me as an infant;  even at 6 years old she was quite the entrepreneur! 

Her warmth and charm were undeniable and immediate, even if she just met you.  Anyone who knew her really well, knew that Amy was actually quite modest when it came to herself, as she reserved grand gestures for others. Speaking of grand gestures; Amy flew back from her overseas job in Hong Kong to the US for just 4 days just to surprise me and help me get ready for the Prom! I would say that set the "bar to the ceiling"  for being the most Loving and Adoring Sister in the whole world! That memory may still be one of the biggest Surprises that I have experienced in my lifetime.  

My mind is full of so many beautiful and magical memories of my Amazing Sister and how her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love touched so many lives and taught me some of lifes greatest  lessons.  

Best Friend, Mentor and Loving Sister checked all the boxes, as Amy was the most inspirational person in my life, for which I have been very blessed. 
  
Bless you Amy;  I will be forever grateful and proud to have been your Sister.  As we often said to each other; when I count my blessings, I count you One Million Times! 

Thank you for your abundant love and for the many beautiful and precious memories that you have left me, I shall treasure them forever. There are no words to describe how much I Love and Miss you.  
You have and will always be my greatest gift on earth and through eternity my dear Sister.

That connects us ’til birth
This cord can’t been seen

This cord does it’s work

It binds us together

From my child to me.
 
The strength of this cord

It pulls at my heart
I am bruised…I am sore,
But this cord is my lifeline
As never before!
 
I am thankful that Hasheem
Connects us this way
A mother and child
even death can’t take it away.

I am forever blessed and proud to be your Mother. From the moment you laid in my arms upon birth, I whispered to you that I will always love you more than all the stars in the sky.  You were a gift my dear Amy to Daddy and I. 

Till we meet again my beautiful and beloved daughter.
