Weinstein, Barbara Lynn, nee, Gershon, of Rye Brook, NY, died at the age of 70 on February 7, 2015. Born in Chicago on July 24, 1944, she moved to Teaneck, NJ at the age of 8. She graduated Penn State University, married Marc Weinstein in
1967 and had two children, Andrew and Jaime. Later she divorced and for the past 14 years has been a committed life partner to Steve Matthews of Hillsdale, NJ.
Loving mother, grandmother, sister, life partner and former wife, Barbara lived a full and creative life and persevered through several illnesses with strength and grace until the end of her life.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 10th at 1pm at Gutterman and Musicant Jewish Funeral Directors, 402 Park Street, Hackensack, NJ 07601
