Weissberger, Barbara A. (nee Kling), 69, of New Milford, died Friday, March 14. She was born Sept 22nd 1944 in Hasbrouck Heights NJ. She was a microbiologist and research librarian for 36 years at Merck and other bio tech companies. During her retirement she often served as a substitute teacher in Bergen County. She graduated Syracuse University and was active Pi Beta Phi sorority alum. She served on the Republican County Committee for New Milford. She is survived by her two daughters Laurie Lovett (Chicago) and Jennifer Ehnert (Maryland) and granddaughter Samantha Lovett (Chicago). Service will be held on Sunday, March 16 at 12:30pm at Gutterman Musicant Funeral Home, 402 Park Street, Hackensack NJ. Interment will immediately follow services at Riverside Cemetery, 12 Market street Saddle Brook NJ. Family will be receiving guest immediately following burial at the family home. Shiva and services will be held Sunday - Thursday 7:00pm at family home. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Gilda's Club of Northern NJ.
