Barbara & I were very close friends throughout High School at Weehawken High and enjoyed meeting her throughout the years at the class reunions which we attended. She was a wonderful person and a joy to visit with.  Our sympathies go out to her family & friends and she will be fondly remembered by all of us from Weehawken High.

The Judge was a wonderful mentor to me and I will never forget her. She had such a generous spirit and kind soul. At a very difficult time in my life, she gave me incredible courage and strength.  She inspired so many of us and I was so blessed to have her in my life. God bless you all during this difficult time.

I will miss her sense of humor, delightful smile and the many dinners we had together.  Her passing has left a hole in my life that will be hard to fill.

I was saddened by the news of Barbara's passing. I served under her on the Board of Education and was appointed to the position of Municipal Court Judge after Barbara's appointment to the Superior Court. She set a great example for me for me to follow. Both my and Judy's thoughts and prayers are with her family.

ZZ was so kind to my wife and me. The years we were alone for Thanksgiving she invited us to join her family. I was her prosecutor when she was a municipal judge. I was proud to serve with her in Superior Court. She was always a good Judge. Our thoughts are with the family and with Philip. Rest in peace, friend.

Words do an injustice in explaining how much I will miss ZZ.  She will remain very alive in my memories and admiration.
I realize her family has lost a special person. May the memories of the years you spent together somehow comfort you.

I am so sorry for your loss.  I know she fought to the end, as was her way, but she was blessed to have you and others cheering her on, and helping her along the way.  She will be sorely missed.  

I feel that I have lost a treasured mentor and friend.  She was one of the kindest, most generous in straightforward advice, compliments and constuctive critism people I have been lucky enough to have known and worked for.  I always felt she had my best interest and development, both professionally and personally, at heart.  She was truly thrilled at my personal and professional milestones and successes, and she made the effort over the years to participate in some of them.  

I have remained in touch with her for all these years not out of obligation, but sincere desire to keep this awe inspiring person in my life.  As a professional she was impressive, but as a person she was beyond compare.  I have tried to emulate her wisdom, decisiveness, and kindnessin in both areas of my life.  I thank God for putting her in my life to mentor me as a law clerk, and for the continued relationship we have had for the past 15 years.

Sending prayers and love to Barbara's sons and their families.  I know how very much she loves them.  Please know the memory of your mother lives on in the hearts and souls of all those she touched.  Your mom was a true mentor of so many and a trailblazer to be reckoned with and admired. I honestly don't know what truly wonderful thing I did in my life to gain the privilege of her friendship and her love.  Yes, there is a void that will heal in time but more importantly she has left a legacy that will endure forever.  Special prayers go out to Philip for being the wonderful person he was in her life and selfless caregiver and also to her two wonderful caregivers - Esther and Cheryl....you all gave her last days the dignity and respect she deserved. xxoo
