Bernice Rosalind Grossberg

Bernice Rosalind (nee Zirin) Grossberg passed away peacefully January, 19, 2023 in Englewood, NJ. Born in Brooklyn on 3/2/33 to Louis and Ida Zirin, Bernice was predeceased by her sisters Edith and Alice. She was a devoted mother to her children Helene (Dan Lacoff) and Rick (Audrey) and a beloved grandmother to Allison, Lauren, Emily and Elyse. She was blessed with 4 great-grandchildren Remi, Olivia, Max, and Drew. Her family was her life and our life was Bernice. She spent her career as an executive secretary and worked tirelessly and meticulously until the age of 75. Bernice was a psychotic Met fan, proudly wearing her orange and blue at many games and at home. Bernice was not just a grandma to her own family. All our extended family and friends called her Grandma Bernice because she was beloved by everyone she touched. The funeral service will be held at Gutterman and Musicant, 402 Park St, Hackensack NJ on Sunday, January 22 at 11:00am. Following services, interment will take place at Beth David Cemetery, 300 Elmont Road, Elmont, NY. Shiva will follow at Temple Habonim, 103 West End Avenue, New York, NY from 4:00-7:00pm. Shiva will also take place Monday, January 23, 2023 at 21 West End Avenue, 10th Floor Lounge from 4:00pm-7:00pm.
