Claire Eig

On June 1, 1958, she married the love of her life, Alvin Eig. Together, they shared nearly 68 years of marriage, building a life filled with devotion, laughter, and cherished memories.

Claire enjoyed a distinguished career as a successful commercial real estate executive. Through her professionalism, determination, and business acumen, she earned the respect of colleagues and clients alike. Her career reflected the same integrity, perseverance, and commitment to excellence that she brought to every aspect of her life.

Beyond her professional achievements, Claire was a respected community leader and volunteer who proudly served as President of B'nai B'rith Women of Northern New Jersey. Through her leadership and service, she touched countless lives and was known for her generosity, compassion, and willingness to help others.

Above all, Claire's greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her loving husband, Alvin Eig; her devoted daughters, Lisa, Jennifer, and Margo; and her cherished grandchildren, Emma, Bradley, Alex, and Brian. She took immense pride in her family and treasured every moment spent with them.

Claire will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, strength, intelligence, and unwavering devotion to those she loved. Her legacy of professional achievement, community service, friendship, and family devotion will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Shiva will take place at Arbor Terrace on Tuesday from 2-4pm. And, continue at Lisa's home on Wednesday & Thursday from 2-4pm and 6-8:30pm, and on Friday from 2-4pm.
