I was looking for Dr. Fishkin's practice number to recommend him to a friend, and I came across the sad news of his passing. Twenty-six years ago, when my mother was diagnosed, it was Dr. Fishkin and his staff who helped us with their remarkable care, information, and resources. My mom was so scared of this disease, and Dr. Fishkin was always kind to her. His knowledge and care gave her seventeen more years, and I am forever thankful. May he rest in peace, and God bless his soul.

Gone but never forgotten. You saved my dads life and gave us 30 extra years with him.

So very sad  too hear this. Dr Fishkin was such a wonderful man and an even better doctor. I was his patient from September of 1994. He made me well and gave me the life I have and cherish! God Bless him in heaven! He certainly will be missed.

I am so sorry to hear of his passing
. Dr. Fishkin saved my dads life and added many more years on . He was so kind to my dad and my whole family.   He made such a difference in the lives of so many people. My family was so very sorry to hear of Dr. Fishkin's passing.   He took care of my father for 15 years who unfortunately also passed away back on 8/20/02.    My father and our family can't praise Dr. Fishkin enough for all he did for him and our family.  I think Dr. Fishkin's phenomenal care of my father was the reason we were so fortunate to have him for that length of time.  His care was beyond superior and beyond compare.   The medical community has truly lost an irreplaceable icon.  He will be sorely missed by everyone's path he crossed.

I worked for several years at Trinitas hospital with Dr Fishkin. He would often come in in the middle of the night to see patients. He was always kind caring and friendly despite being up all day and working well into the night.
As a as a nurse I have worked with many doctors . Dr Fishkin was one of a kind . I am so sorry to hear of his passing and send my deepest condolences to his family .

Dr. Fishkin was a kind , compassionate, caring doctor who will be sorely missed.  He always spent time to explain and comfort our family. May he rest is peace.

I was very saddened to hear the news of Dr Fishkin's passing. I met him over 27 years ago when I was just 17. He was a very kind, dedicated, and sincere doctor and he will forever remain the best Doctor I ever had. I was still seeing him every six months for follow ups, and feel a great loss to not see him anymore. He was truly a special person. My condolences to his family, patients,  and friends.

Dr Fishkin took care of my mother for many years. Our first visit with him was two hours. He was thorough, caring, comforting and always sharing a smile. He added many years of good health to my mother's life. Later years my daughter was his patient receiving the same care.  The medical field has lost. a truly wonderful doctor,the world has lost an awesome person .Truly one of a kind. This is a loss for all who knew him.

A wonderful doctor and human being.  My heartfelt condolences to his family.


Dr. Fishkin and I were roommates in N.Y.U. School of Medicine. We also were close friends in high school and in Brooklyn College.
He was always very meticulous, diligent, hardworking and modest. I will miss him very much! May his family derive comfort from the wonderful acts of kindness he performed and his dedication to the highest standards of medical care and caring for his beloved patients.

I'm sorry to hear about your loss of Dr. Ellioth Fishkin.  He was a very thoughtful, kind, caring and wonderful man.  I will never forget all he did for me.  Dr. Fishkin saved my life and thousand of others!   He was a GREAT DOCTOR!!!  He will be dearly missed.  I will always keep him in my thoughts and prayers.

Dr. Fishkin treated my husband for two years (2006 - 2008).  Unfortunately, even with the doctor's valiant efforts, he passed away.  However,  we had two extra years that we wouldn't have had if not for Dr. Fishkin's kind and compassionate care.  My husband loved this man like a brother.  He was so comforting to my entire family.  So sorry to hear of his passing.

What a nice man.  What a terrific doctor.
