

Beloved wife of Larry for more than 38 years. Devoted mother of Geordan and Perrin. Loving sister and brother-in law to Tracey and Peter Kelley and a wonderful aunt to David and Aaron.
She was born in Cresskill, New Jersey in 1952 to George and Elaine Propper. Flip graduated from Cresskill High School. She went on to study at Goucher College and later received a masters from New York University. Upon graduating, Flip began her career at the American Field Service. She later worked at Newsweek for 22 years in HR and ended her professional career at the Environmental Defense Fund. In her retirement, Flip taught as an adjunct professor at Bergan Community College and Soliya
Flip took pride in being a great listener, which made her the best wife and mother, a cherished friend and an excellent professional. There are no words for how much Flip was loved and she will be terribly missed.
A funeral service will be held at the Gutterman-Musicant funeral home in Hackensack on Tuesday, July 18 at 11:30 am.
Shiva will be observed at the Bernard residence, located at 514 Standish Road in Teaneck, on Tuesday following the interment ceremony (approximately 3:30 pm), and on Wednesday and Thursday beginning at 7:00 pm. There will be a shiva minyan each evening at 7:30 pm.
