Larry J. Kaslow, known lovingly as Dad, Pop, Lambro, Lawri & Lawrence, passed away peacefully at his home on May 24, 2026, surrounded by those he held dearest. He was born on May 3,1957 and was 69 years old.
Larry was a beloved partner, father, son, pop, brother, relative, and friend. He was raised in Bellmore, New York on Long Island and graduated from John F. Kennedy High School. He then attended college in Oneonta and Buffalo, before finding home in New York City. He later moved across the river to Bergen County, New Jersey, where he lived in Closter followed by Fort Lee.
Larry built his career in Manhattan’s textile industry, most notably as the founder and owner of Leg Scene, Ltd., a successful hosiery business that reflected his entrepreneurial spirit.
Some of his most treasured memories, though, were made far from the city in West Stockbridge, Massachusetts. Larry spent his summers at Crane Lake Camp, where he forged friendships and created memories that would last a lifetime. Larry was also known for his deep appreciation and love of music, with a particular devotion to the Grateful Dead.
Larry is survived by his partner, George Stiros; his daughter and son-in-law, Alison Kaslow and Brandon Ellison; his son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Andrea Kaslow; his two adored grandchildren, Maya and Zoe Kaslow; his sister, Ellen Kaslow; his nephew and niece, David and Rebekah Shulman; his aunt, Judy Levine; his cousin, Mark Levine; and the many dear friends who were, in every way that mattered, family. He was predeceased by his parents, Zelda and Melvyn Kaslow, and his brother, George Kaslow.
