Leon Rubach

Leon Rubach, age 85, of Aventura, Florida passed away on October 27, 2017 in Aventura, Florida surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Eva Rubach; loving father of Joseph and Elizabeth Rubach and Jason and Jill Rubach. Beloved papa of Gabrielle, Tessa, Camryn, Blake, Noah and Grant Rubach. Loyal brother of Marc Rubach.

Mr. Rubach was born on the Fourth of July, 1932 in Wloclawek, Poland. He was a proud survivor of the Holocaust and came to live in the United States in 1952.He founded DR Chemical in 1966 based in New York City. Under his leadership, the company grew to be an international direct marketing company with offices throughout the United States and Europe

In addition to his professional endeavors, Mr. Rubach was devoted to philanthropic causes.including The Museum of Jewish Heritage, Englewood Hospital, Aventura Jewish Center and the Kaplan JCC on the Palisades.

Funeral Service was held 10 AM on Tuesday October 31st at Temple Emanu-El, 180 Piermont Road, Closter, New Jersey 07624.

Entombment will followed at the Sanctuary of Abraham & Sarah, 735 Forest Ave, Paramus, NJ 07652

SHIVA will be observed today October 31st at the home of Jason & Jill Rubach, 23 Birchwood Place, Tenafly, NJ 07670 until 9PM, and Wednesday & Thursday 12 noon-2:30PM and 5:00 PM -9PM with Minyan all days at 7:30 PM.
