Margaret was predeceased by her husband of 46 years, James Strauch in 1998. She is survived by her son Jonathan Strauch, her 2 daughters, Lisa Strauch Eggers and Helen Strauch Harrison, her 7 grandchildren, Clara Strauch, Lucas Strauch Eggers, Jacob Strauch, Benjamin Strauch Eggers, Evan Strauch Harrison, Juliette Harrison and Charlotte Harrison, and her 3 nieces, May Berenbaum, Carrie Strauch and Diane Berenbaum.
Born in Chicago, IL, Margaret grew up in Manhattan during the Depression. She moved to Tenafly to raise her family and was an active community volunteer. Strong as always, Margaret lived independently in her Tenafly home until the age of 95. She and her loving heart will be deeply missed by many.
