I too was a student of Mrs. London (same class as Denise), and my love of American History started with her some 36 years ago - our play on the American Revolution was pretty darn good for third graders! My sincerest sympathies to Mrs. London's family. She was a great woman. Thank you for sharing her with us.

As a former student of Mrs. London, she will forever be to me the voice of Charlotte, in Charlotte's Web. My love of literature started in 3rd grade because of this very special teacher. I know she holds a special place in the hearts of so many of her former students. My deepest condolences go out to her family and those who loved her.

I will always remember Mrs. London as a dedicated and creative teacher. She made each student feel special with their own "Week to Shine." The week culminated with her taking the special student out for lunch at the end of the week. She treated third graders like much older students using challenging curriculum and expecting us to carry ourselves with maturity. Thank you Mrs. London for guiding us even at such a young age. I am currently a high school English teacher and Mrs. London is one of my favorite educators who truly inspired me.
