Marilyn B Schwartz

Marilyn Beebe Schwartz passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her humorous caring husband Ira Schwartz, her children Michelle and Barry, daughter in-law Wendy and six wonderful grandchildren Samantha, Brook, Mathew, Avry, Jason and Tara. As well as nephews David and Seth Briskman. Predeceased by her son Steven. She was a caring and devoted spouse for 62 years. She grew up in New Rochelle, NY and was a graduate of Mills College of education. Though her time in education was short, she thrived in a career of retail. She was always dressed with an eye for matching colors and prints, thank you Lands End for the endless combos of shirts and vests. She never left the house without red lipstick and a full face of makeup because you never know who you might meet. Loving her routines she packed everyday to the max, from exercise class with Jill to bagging her cereal for breakfast to meeting up with friends to calling every family member before bed. She never held a grudge, telling all who crossed her path to build a bridge and get over it. Truly a woman who loved deeply and carried a positive attitude in her life. Gorgeous Marilyn will be missed and will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Resident of Wanaque, New Jersey, Marilyn will be honored at a Funeral Service at Gutterman and Musicant Jewish Funeral Directors, 402 Park Street, Hackensack, NJ 07601, US, on April 29, 2026, from 12:30 pm followed by a Committal Service at Cedar Park and Beth El Cemeteries, 735 Forest Ave, Paramus, NJ 07652, US, on April 29, 2026, from 2:15 pm.
