Mike was born in November in Brooklyn, NY on January 19, 1962. He was a lifelong resident of West New York, where he attended the WNY school system. He also received a degree in Accounting from Jersey City State College. Mike spent his whole working career in the Food industry.
Mike is survived by his Mother Joyce Dowden, his son Jonathan (Alyssa), two grandchildren and his sister, Karen Dowden (Evan Inker)
The first words that come to mind when we remember mike are: gentle, quiet, sweet & kind; funny & a bit shy until he got to know you. He was just a lovely person & very hardworking.
A thoughtful, considerate son, father, & brother who enjoyed the simple things in life.
Everyone who knew Mike will surely miss him, but none more than his mom. Mike was a devoted son who was her pride and joy.
A Committal Service will be held at Cedar Park and Beth El Cemeteries, 735 Forest Ave, Paramus, NJ 07652, US, on March 10, 2026, from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm.
