Mr. Augenblick worked with Edward Durell Stone in New York City as an Senior Associate until the mid-1970s, when he began his own Architectural company, where he worked until retiring five years ago. During this time he lived in Washington Heights, Paramus, Wayne, and finally Somerset where he has lived for the past seven years.
Mr. Augenblick was an avid handball player and former state champion, was a member of the A.I.A. (American Institute of Architects), and was a member and past commander of the Augenblick-Marcus Jewish War Veterans Post 669 of Paramus, which was named for his brother.
