Born in NYC to Charles & Fae Goldberg on April 24, 1929. Muriel lived a wonderful life and died on February 10, 2013. She received her undergraduate degree from Hunter College, her dual Master’s degree from Rutgers University, and her Doctorate from New York University in Intercultural Education & Communication. She was a passionate traveler, licensed decorator with a flair as she painted in later years, and always supportive of holistic medicine and natural healing. As a statuesque woman who took good care of herself, she met all the challenges in her life with dignity and aplomb.
Fiercely loyal to her dear departed husband, George (1994), her children, Barron, Suzanne, and Yvette survive her along with her 7 grandchildren Randy, Cortney, Carly, Eric, Aviva, Rachel, and Giorgi. A tower of strength, she will be missed by all.
Chapel services will be held today at 12:00pm, Gutterman-Musicant Jewish Funeral Director’s, 402 Park Street, Hackensack, NJ 07601. Interment will follow Cedar Park Cemetery in Paramus, NJ. For more information go to www.guttermanmusicantwien.com.
