I met Norman at StoryPoint, where he was a resident when my mother moved in. I knew him so briefly, but in the short time we spoke I saw a sweet man who was so kind to me despite my being a veritable stranger. He treated me like an old friend. Norman was welcoming, and with his lovely wife he spoke to me and my mother about their having been from the same neighborhood in the Bronx. I believe this world has been a better place with Norman Budofsky having lived in it. Norman was a mensch, a gentleman, and he was very funny. May his memory be a blessing.
