I knew richard at Mirasol country club, over the years I got to know richard primarily playing golf with him. I found him to be a wonderful person who I enjoyed talking to very much. He will be missed.

For those of us who knew him well, the passing of Richard hit like a sudden bolt of lightning. Only last week, exhibiting his usual enthusiasm, he and I had spoken and were planning to schedule a dinner.
He was always full of life, ready with a quip to puncture someone's pomposity with a twinkle in his eye.
I watched with admiration when Richard left the firm where we both worked as he proceeded to help grow Peckar & Abramson from a two man operation in Hackensack to a national powerhouse.
Others have spoken of his abilities as a lawyer, which certainly is true. But I shall remember him as a friend who loved to tell stories of his golfing exploits or brag about his grandchildren.
If the adage is true that one is fortunate to have but a few really good friends in life, I am at a loss for having lost one of mine.
My deepest condolences to Angela, and the entire extended Abramson family.

I had the pleasure of working under Rich for seven years ending in 1994. I will always remember his work ethic (leave no stone unturned), his ability and willingness to mentor those who worked at the firm, but mostly his quick sense of humor. I recall many trips he and I made to and from an arbitration held in Delaware where we laughed the whole ride up and down the Turnpike. My sincere condolences to Angela, his children, grandchildren and entire family. All of our lives were better for knowing Rich. He will truly be missed by all.

Rich, had a heart of gold and will be sorely missed. He was the best of the best at work and on a personal level was genuine and kind. I want to extend my condolences to the family during this trying time. I was honored to have spent so many years working with him and being in astonishment over what he had achieved. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
