Richard grew up in Paterson, NJ. He graduated Cum Laude from Tufts University with a degree in engineering.
After a long career in construction he retired and devoted his final years to helping others by volunteering at Temple Beth Or and delivering Meals On Wheels. He could often be heard whistling and really enjoyed his garden, opera, the Philharmonic and walking his “grand-dog” Cassidy.
