Richard H. Weisinger, age 92 of Fort Lee, New Jersey passed away on January 15, 2019. Married to Gloria Weisinger (Lesser) for 63 years, Mr. Weisinger was born in Newark, New Jersey on December 1, 1926 to the late Albert Weisinger and Esther Weisinger (Karlin). After serving in the US Naval Service in World War II, Mr. Weisinger graduated from the New York Law School. He was a partner in the New York City law firms of Blinkoff & Weisinger, Greenfield, Stein & Weisinger and Greenberg, Irwin & Weisinger. He retired from the practice of law at age 90. Co-founder of the Englewood National Bank & Trust Company, which merged with Valley National Bank, Mr. Weisinger sat on the advisory board of Valley National Bank for many years. He was a golf player at Montammy Golf Club, where he served on its Board and as President for several years. He is survived by his son, Norman and his wife Sherri (Pearlman) of Laguna Niguel, CA; daughter, Roberta and her husband, Steven (Davis) of Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey; son, William and his wife, Michele (Chang) of Santa Clara, CA and daughter, Janet Ginsberg and her husband, Roger Ginsberg of Harrington Park, New Jersey. Mr. Weisinger spent his life putting his family first. He loved and adored his grandchildren, Justin Robinson, Jake Robinson, Brandon Robinson, Karlin Weisinger and Julianna Weisinger, all of whom put that sparkle in his eyes. A hockey enthusiast, the New York Rangers were his team. Many years were spent at Madison Square Garden. Mr. Weisinger was predeceased by his brothers, George and Norman and was the caretaker for his Uncle Morty until his death at age 94. Services will be held at Gutterman and Musicant, Hackensack, New Jersey on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at King Solomon Memorial Park, Clifton, New Jersey. Memorial donations may be made to The Graf Center for Integrative Medicine at Englewood Hospital or Jewish Home at Rockleigh.
