I had met Shepard  the second  week  of  being a nanny for his niece and nephew  and of course  he is a wonderful person you could ever come across he has ever good attitude to ever one he comes  in contact with I miss him dearly 
I could not believe  when I heard that he is gone 
His memory will always live on

Watching someone so close to you die from cancer is overwhelming. I remember when my brothers cancer recurred how distraught I was, I felt as if he was going to be taken away from me immediately. Shep was courageous, determined and followed the recommendations of everyone involved in his care. He honestly never let it slow him down till it aggressively advanced.  His final wishes were for his loving niece and nephew, Isla and Hunter to visit him in hospice. They came to see him, kiss him and say that final goodbye. It was the last time I saw him awake and alert. He had spent his few remaining years doting on these two, who mourn the loss of their "Uncle Fun". Shep was an amazing person, a great friend, a loving son to Dora and Michael, and a giving, kind and special brother. Shep, my brother I can't stop thinking of you every day. I am lost without you.

Well, sometimes I did because of all your packages.  I enjoyed our talks about women.  You sure were picky.  You did have fine taste.  Your drive for success was refreshing.   You lived life well. My deepest condolences to the family. We were both class of ‘92 at THS and shared several classes where we would talk and Shep would always make me laugh. I saw him over the years around Bergen County and he was really helpful and fun when we were planning the 20th class reunion. I’m glad that I knew him and loved his fantastic sense of humor. My deepest condolences, I had the pleasure of meeting Shepard at a poker game 5 years ago.We played several times after that , I would always try to sit next to him as we had the best conversations and would keep in touch with each other on the phone during the covid lockdown. He will be in my thoughts and prayers forever .
