he was a Holocaust survivor. He was the last surviving member of his
generation. Sidney lived in Washington Heights and Forest Hills, NY. He
spent the last six years happily at The Jewish Home Assisted Living in
River Vale. Beloved husband of 70 years to Carrie Hain. Father to Barry Hain
and his wife Joan and Marsha Shapiro and her husband William. Grandfather
to Daniel Hain and Jackie Schwartzer and husband David. Proud great-grandfather
to Jacob Schwartzer. Uncle to six nieces and nephews. Funeral services Tuesday,
September 24 at 11:00 AM at Gutterman and Musicant Jewish Funeral Directors,
402 Park Street, Hackensack, NJ 07601. Should friends desire, donations may be
