Steven Gary Bacall, age 60, of Damascus, Pennsylvania, died on September 24, 2025.
He was born in Englewood, New Jersey, on March 3, 1965 and raised in Bayonne, New Jersey, graduating from Rutgers University in 1987 and Life Chiropractic College in 1997. He spent over thirty years as head of his chiropractic business, Springfield Holistic Wellness, and was known for his dedication to his patients and his community. Steven personified the Jewish values of selflessness, charity, and service, and performed countless mitzvot without ever seeking recognition.
Nothing was more important to him than his family. Steven is survived by his beloved wife Kerri-Jude and children Ben, Max, Emma-Rose, and Abby, as well as his sister Beth and mother Phyllis. His loss is also shared by his extended family — the Smiths, Nordquists, Petruccis, Krakows, Levines, and, of course, dogs Daisy, Levi, and Halilah.
A graveside service will be held Sunday, September 28, 2025, at 11:30AM at Cedar Park and Beth El Cemeteries, 735 Forest Avenue, Paramus, NJ 07652.
Following the service, the family will be sitting shiva at Chabad of Springfield — 810 South Springfield Avenue, Springfield, NJ, from 2:00PM–5:00PM. Shiva will continue on Monday, September 29 at the family’s home — 172 Delaware Drive in Damascus, PA from 4:00PM–7:00PM (minyan at 6:30PM).
May his memory be a blessing. זכרונו לברכה
