I am so very heartbroken to hear of Sue's passing. She was a nail client at the salon I work at. Every Friday morning I greeted her by good morning Suzy-Q and we would have a nice conversation. Always nicely dressed beautiful energy , what a tremendous loss, I will miss seeing you Suzy-Q Rip. My thoughts and prayers are with her family 😥🙏💔

To The Kolis Family,

I am sorry to hear of Mrs. Kolis's passing. She was my freshman English teacher in 1982 at Morris Knolls High School. She was a compassionate teacher who would always willing to help her students. I will never forget reading Great Expectations in her class and all the analytical work we did on that novel. Thanks you for showing me the beauty of reading and the importance of digging deeper into a work of art to discover the true meaning. You inspired me and many other students through the years. RIP Mrs. Kolis.

To the Kolis Family - Amy and Michael,
My deepest sympathies over the loss of Sue. She was always a smiling face and welcome conversationalist whether as a parent at a track meet or a teacher at a district faculty meeting. It was always a pleasure to be in her company.
I wish the family much love and support in the days ahead.

I find it very difficult to believe that Sue has left us. I know she suffered greatly these last months and I am grateful that she is finally at peace. There are so many adjectives that I can use to describe her. She was soft spoken, very friendly, giving and so, so kind. Sue was the consummate teacher, an expert in her field, illiciting the best from her students. Sue was a wealth of knowledge and loved teaching her subject matter . I will miss the dear friend She was to me and I will cherish the
times we spent together. I deeply regret being so far away and not being able to pay my respects in person .

It is with heartfelt sadness that I heard of Sue's passing. She will be sorely missed at the teacher's monthly luncheons, which she greatly enjoyed.

She was a treasured colleague and I send condolences to the family.
