It is with Great sadness that we inform you of the passing of my Beloved husband of 47 1/2 years, Theodore Davis. His life was one of joy from his children Patti Weinstock (Neil), Jeff Davis (Jacqui) and Bonni Davis. As ell as his 10 Grandchildren, Jessica (Jesse), Brandon, Justin, Zachary, Drew, Brooke, Samantha, Jake, and Alexa.
Ted was born on May 24, 1932 and as a young man he prided himself on attaining 32 Merit Badges as an Eagle Scout. He grew up in Washington, New Jersey. He attended Lafayette College and after one year transferred to the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree.
Ted enjoyed most sports either participating or watching but tennis was his favorite. Playing with his children or his grandchildren was always a treat. Although golf was a challenge he enjoyed the socializing aspect in his business or social life.
Being a Captain in The United States Air Force during the Korean War helped mold him into the strong businessman that attained respect and the fortitude to last 63 years in his business of choice. That being an officer and partner in Bell Container Corp. Ted retired in 2012 however carried the love for his company with him always.
Ted will always be remembered for his contagious laugh that became his mantra. You knew he was in the room once you heard that belly laugh.
Ted will be remembered for his integrity, loyalty and that twinkle in his eye. Missed by his family and the friends he held so dear.
