

Passed away peacefully, on Tuesday, August 5, 2014, at age 93, surrounded by her family, listening to Neil Diamond's "Sweet Caroline". She was born June 18, 1921 to Christ and Pearl Terzis. Beloved wife of the late Ervin R. Balke for 71 years on August 7. Best friend and loving mother of Dan (Karen) Balke, Nancy (Dave) Reichert, Debbie (Mike) Kosmatka and Al Balke. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer, Christopher, Chad, Matt (girlfriend Justina) and Eric (Michelle). Great-grandmother of Jacob and Anna Reichert. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Special friends to Betty Beirle and Shirley Renolds.
Visitation, Sunday, August 10 from 4 PM until 7 PM at the FUNERAL HOME. Visitation also, Monday, August 11, from 10 AM until 11 AM at WISCONSIN MEMORIAL PARK-Chapel of the Flowers, 13235 W Capitol Dr., Brookfield. Celebration of Life to follow at 11 AM. Interment private at the Cemetery.
Dorothy was retired from the American Bowling Congress for 22 years as a mail room clerk. Memorials in Dorothy's name may be directed to King of Glory Lutheran Church, 4330 S. 84th St., Greenfield. A special thank you to Jen, Wendy and Kathy from Seasons Hospice, and Creekside Manor in Oak Creek, for taking good care of our mother.
