Lopez, Lindsay Jean "Lindz" (Nee Wenzel) Born September 25, 1978, went home to Heaven November 22, 2010. Loving wife of Jason Lopez. Mother of Olivia Jasmine Lopez, Daughter of Karen and Eugene Wenzel. Daughter-in-law of Stella and Domingo Lopez. Granddaughter of Dorothy (the late Gene) Wenzel and Lilly (the late Earling) Hagstrand. In-law granddaughter of Nena and Al Salazar and Domingo and Corina Lopez Sister-in-law of Jessica (Chris Munz) Lopez. Niece of Barbara (Michael) Berg, Kristine Carlson and Ruth (Roger) Davis. Cousin of Megan (Todd Zimmerman) Berg, Bryon (Amanda) Berg, Logan Carlson, Stephanie (Ty Robinson) Carlson, Leslie Carlson, Keller Davis, Barton and Shannon Davis. Further survived by other relatives and many friends. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 27, 2010, at 4PM at the Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 1PM until time of Service. She waged a 14 month battle against Leukemia with the strength of a warrior. Always with a positive attitude and belief that she would be a survivor. As she faced every treatment including a bone marrow transplant in June 2010, she did whatever was asked of her. Even after facing a relapse of the leukemia in Oct., she never lost her positive attitude. Abundant Thanks to all her Family, Many Friends, Co-workers, Nurses and Doctors who have been assisting her with prayers and support through the many months. Thank you to the staff of Froedtert-Medical college Transplant Team and CIBMTR, Oncology Nurses and Doctors at Waukesha Memorial Hospital, Be the Match, Leukemia-Lymphoma Society.
