He sent everyone his love.
Allan lived his life to the fullest, ever present at the heart of the momentous events in the history of the political organization the which he remained a loyal activist and member, the Communist Party of Canada (Marxist-Leninist), Canada and the world since his youth. He represented the best the Canadian working class has given rise to, his life was replete with significant shared adventures, honourable decisions, unwavering fidelity to the cause of emancipating humankind, always at the ready to answer the call of history.
Allan’s steadfast determination to eliminate the scourges of inequality, racism and war always came first. On this basis, he touched the lives of those with whom he lived, worked and fought through the years. In return, they never had a dull moment in his company.
He leaves behind many people across the country who are proud to call him their comrade and their friend. They loved him dearly and supported him with all their hearts. We are deeply grateful to all who contributed to making his life’s journey possible.
Today, all of us together express our profound social love and admiration for our courageous fellow-fighter, comrade and friend.
Allan, may you rest in peace.
At the twilight, a moon appeared in the sky;
Then it landed on earth to look at me.
Like a hawk stealing a bird at the time of prey;
That moon stole me and rushed back into the sky.
I looked at myself, I did not see me anymore;
For in that moon, my body turned as fine as soul.
The nine spheres disappeared in that moon;
The ship of my existence drowned in that sea.
