Angela Kelly Blake (née Edmondstone), age 45, of Halifax, died suddenly on April 18, 2015 after a very brief illness. Angela grew up in Renfrew, Ontario. She was a graduate of University of Ottawa, Seneca College and Saint Mary’s University. Angela was a kind and loving wife, a good friend and a wonderful mother. Angela enjoyed spending time outdoors with her family, travel, and reading but mostly she loved to make others happy. She is survived by her loving husband John, ten-year-old son James, her mother Janet, brothers Gavin (Sue) and Daniel (Mary) and nephews Thomas and Paul Edmondstone. She was pre-deceased by her father Thomas Edmondstone.
Visitation will be at Cruikshank’s Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 22 from 2pm to 4pm and again from 6pm to 8pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated on April 23 at 10am at St. Patrick’s Parish on Brunswick Street in Halifax. In lieu of flowers, donations to Camp Brigadoon or Scouts Canada would be appreciated.
