Arlene McLellan, Halifax, passed away peacefully, November 19th, 2013, in the Dartmouth General Hospital, with loved ones by her side. Born March 20, 1958 in Montreal, Que., to Bob and Betty Ann Dextras. Arlene grew up in Montreal, a city she loved, and where she was educated and began her working career. Besides her parents, Arlene is survived by her loving son and daughter, Christopher and Aynsley; sisters, Cheryl and Donna. She is also survived by longtime friend, Jamie Swansburg. She was a firecracker – an artistic person with a great sense of humor. Apart from being a crossword puzzle enthusiast, Arlene loved to sing and dance. She was always ready with a quick joke and was the life of the party. She was truly a joy to those who were lucky enough to know her.
Visitation Sunday November 24, 2013, 1pm until service at 3pm in Cruikshank’s Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor St., Halifax.
